I think its perfectly normal for new grads to want little to do with  
the school, at least for awhile.  it takes some time and distance to  
start feeling nostalgic enough to look back and want to contribute to  
the school.  I remember hitting undergrad and being so preoccupied  
with all it had to offer that there was no time to think about NCSSM  
much, except for those reunions we used to have EVERY year back  
then.  those were fun.
