Volunteers needed for Annual Fund fundraising

Hello Alumni,

I need your help as we try to meet the goals for the Annual Fund this  
year at NCSSM.  As many of you know, the Annual Fund is the pool of  
unrestricted money that is raised each year that goes to fund sports,  
clubs, van trips, competitions, prom, etc.  Its often not donated to  
by alumni because of its "unrestricted" status and some alumni fear  
that means their donation will be used for evil instead of good by  
the administration.  Let me assure you that the Annual Fund money  
does not get used that way.  It funds nearly everything you remember  
doing at S&M that wasn't classroom related.  "Everything after 5pm"  
is a good way to categorize it.

Anyway, this year we are behind in donations and in jeopardy of not  
raising enough money to fund this year's budget.  Let's not let the  
current classes of students have to cancel or miss out on activities  
because there isn't any money.

I need volunteers to make a very small number of phone calls (5 to  
10) to select alumni to raise awareness and hopefully raise money for  
the Annual Fund.  I can even try to make it so you are calling your  
own classmates which is always an easier sell than a stranger.
