As someone who is currently experiencing a change in management where I am
employed, I know that with new management comes a change in staff.  Could
Boarman's attempts to get things done quickly be an attempt to fluff up his
"accomplishments" before UNC gives him the boot?  I don't know, maybe this
is just speculation.

Let me hear your thoughts.

OR, could it be that this needs to get done before NCSSM becomes an official
member of the UNC system? I think UNC system schools are prohibited from
having stadium lights within a certain distance of neighbors. Maybe they're
just trying to get it done while they still can.

In any case, since the neighbors are making a big stink, it would probably
be good if the school forked over the minutes they were asking for, just to
demonstrate that they are playing by the rules.

As far as playing tennis at 9 pm, sounds like a great way to blow off steam!

Surely these lights will be far less disturbing than the sirens and other
noises that used to come from the premises when the school was a hospital. I
wonder if the neighbors complained back then.
