In this issue, it has been noted that the building of the stadium has now
been (or at least the plans) put on the fast track. I don't really think
this is an issue of admin trying to slight those living in the community. I
think it has more to do with the fact that the school athletic programs have
to meet a new facility and game time standard, lighted fields for night
games, due to conference rules (that is if the school plans to contend for
state championships), which go into effect this coming year. Given this
info, there is no time to attempt to negotiate with the unreasonable.
I really do not think that the home association should have that much
control, of any, of decisions that are made concerning the school. I for one
expect the President of the school to run the school and not play footsie
with the neighborhood home association. There are bigger fish to fry.
