Hmm... because maybe a gang rape that could have easily happened anywhere or 
could have possibly involved anyone is a little more pressing than a soccer 
field.

Personally, I hope they get a big honking concrete poured sports complex.  
Why?  Because I don't have to live next door to it.  But if they got it, I 
would certainly hope that they went about it the right way and didn't 
hoodwink people into thinking that it was something it wasn't.
