OK folks,
Here is the latest word on the Alumni Aunts and Uncles program. I met =
with Therese Friday to discuss the idea, and this is what we've come up =
with so far. As always, input is always welcome.
Therese is gonna add it as part of the Alumni Volunteer program. Soon =
you'll be recieving a questionaire thing (most likely by email) asking =
for some general info about yourself and for us to get an idea of what =
sort of invovlement you are able to do. Our goal is to have at least =
one for every incoming Junior. We're thinking that, at first, we'll =
match people up by the hometown they came from. We'll also have a =
master directory sort of thing for anyone who might be interested in =
finding an Alumn with a special interest.
I know this isn't much info, but it's all I have at the moment. I hope =
that some of you are willing to participate. For me, the important =
thing isn't how many or much the current students use us, but that we =
are there to be used.
Hope everyone has enjoyed this beautiful day here in Raleigh!!!
