yng alum event cancelled

How about a compromise? A evening event during school class breaks?  Even if you are too far away to drive back, given the large number of alums in the area, I'm sure you could find someone who wouldn't mind you staying over...and there is **no** way a lot of us could come to an afternoon event, me included.
